Welcome to Danhostel Kjellerup

Welcome to our beautiful nature cabins

Combine nature and comfort on your next stay. All our nature cabins have private shower/toilet, kitchenette, underfloor heating, WIFI, duvets and pillows with accommodation for up to 6 persons (bunk beds and sofa bed). All cabins have their own parking space.
In cabin 1 you will also find a communal kitchen with ovens, hotplates, microwaves, refrigerator, crockery etc., which you can use freely during your whole stay.
All cabins are staggered, so you can sit undisturbed by the neighbouring cabins on your own terrace.

Activities for all ages

From the terrace you step directly into the Arena park with plenty of opportunities for free activities, games, play and relaxation for all ages. In the park you will find a street basketball court, multi-court, sand for beach volleyball or beach football, petanque, outdoor fitness area and tracks with obstacles for running and cycling.
Behind the cabins, there is a path that leads you to “Krabbes Grønne Ring” – a 12 km path system around the city, which was built more than 100 years ago on the initiative of the citizens of Kjellerup.

Find your holiday pace

At Danhostel Kjellerup, you can get exactly the stay of you dream of. You can sleep late on a relaxing holiday or get up early and start the day with morning training in beautiful nature.

Go and experience some of Denmark’s biggest must-sees with less than an hour’s drive to Legoland, the Old Town in Aarhus, Randers Rainforest and Silkeborg’s many outdoor offers and of course, the only “mountain” in Denmark, the Sky mountain (Himmelbjerget).

Or you can take a culinary round-trip and explore the local area’s many inns and restaurants, where you can try everything from Danish specialties like “smørrebrød” (traditional Scandinavian open-faced sandwich on ryebread) to magnificent gastronomy in world class.

At Danhostel Kjellerup, it is your needs that are in focus, whether you are in for a romantic get-away, active holiday with both indoor and outdoor training, a family holiday with plenty of space and activities for all ages, or just a combination of it all.

We look forward to seeing you.
